QA Engineer Description

Responsible for organizing and overseeing internal audit engagements in accordance with the statement of work/engagement letter. Audit manager will also oversee the review process then make any necessary recommendations to change policies, implement new systems or change employee roles and team structures.

1. Plans financial, regulatory, compliance or operational reviews/audits
2. Conducts risk assessments and identifies controls in place to mitigate identified risks.
3. Performs audit procedures to verify that controls are operating through testing and interviewing techniques.
4. Analyses and concludes on effectiveness and efficiency of control environment.
5. Identifies control gaps and opportunities for improvement.
6. Documents the results of audit work in accordance with audit department and the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) standards.
7. Prepares timely audit reports for executive management, the Audit Committee and the Board of Directors.
8. Acts as primary client liaison within Internal Audit for one or more VPs/division heads of Auditee.
9. Contributes, as appropriate, in the year-end financial audit with the external auditor.
10. Provides advice on internal control and participates in enhancing internal audit standards and practices.
11. Provides feedback on performance of Internal Auditors, on audit assignments, as applicable.
12. Performs other duties as may be assigned.
